Started with a clogged sink.
FZZT didn't start in a lab. It started in a kitchen — with a slow-draining sink, a bottle of caustic drain cleaner, and the realization that there had to be a better way.
That bottle had a skull-and-crossbones on the label. The instructions said to wear gloves, ventilate the room, and keep it away from children and pets. We thought: this is what people are pouring into their homes every month?
Turns out, there is. Industrial wastewater treatment plants have been using enzymes to break down organic matter for decades. They're cheap, abundant, biodegradable, and remarkably good at their job. The technology was just sitting there — completely missing from consumer products.
So we built FZZT. Three formulas, each tuned to the specific build-up that clogs different drains. Compressed into a single tablet. Packaged in a compostable pouch. Delivered weekly through subscription, so you never have to think about drain care again.
