FZZT is a weekly drain maintenance tablet that uses natural enzymes to break down the gunk that clogs drains — grease, hair, soap scum, food residue. Drop one in the drain at night, flush in the morning, repeat once a week. No harsh chemicals, no fumes, no plumber.

Three enzymes (lipase, protease, amylase) that target fats, protein, and starch. Sodium bicarbonate and citric acid for the fizz. Plus pure essential oils for scent — lavender, tea tree + thyme, or eucalyptus + peppermint depending on the formula. That's it. No sulfates, parabens, dyes, or synthetic fragrances.

Chemical cleaners use sodium hydroxide or sulfuric acid to chemically dissolve clogs — fast but harsh. They damage pipes over time, release toxic fumes, and only work after a clog has formed. FZZT uses biological enzymes for prevention, weekly. Different tool for a different job — and only one of them is safe to keep in a kitchen cabinet.

20 tablets per pouch — that's about 5 months of weekly maintenance for one drain. The Whole Home Bundle has 60 tablets total (20 of each formula), enough for one drain of each type for 5 months.

For prevention: yes, very well. Weekly use keeps drains flowing fresh and prevents the slow build-up that leads to clogs. For an existing clog: clear the blockage first (with a plunger or drain snake), then start using FZZT to keep it from coming back. Enzymes work steadily over time, not instantly.

Yes. There are no caustic chemicals, no toxic fumes, and no skin-irritation risks. That said — these are tablets, not candy. Store them out of reach of small children and pets, like you would any household product.

No. Enzymes are biological and pH-neutral. They only break down organic matter — they don't react with metal, PVC, ceramic, or rubber seals. Safe for any plumbing system, including older pipes.

Yes — better than safe. Septic systems rely on bacteria and enzymes to break down waste. FZZT enzymes contribute to that process rather than disrupt it (which is what bleach and chemical cleaners do).

No. Don't pour bleach, ammonia, or chemical drain cleaners on top of an FZZT tablet. The harsh chemicals destroy the enzymes, and you've wasted a tablet. Use FZZT on its own, with a 24-hour gap from any chemical cleaning.

Don't panic. The ingredients are non-toxic, but they're not meant for ingestion either. Drink water, don't induce vomiting, and call your local poison control or doctor if you're concerned. We label every pouch clearly to prevent this.

Yes. Pouches are home-compostable. Tablets are biodegradable. Shipping boxes are recyclable cardboard. We don't use plastic shrink-wrap, fillers, or marketing inserts — every box ships as lean as possible.

30 days from delivery. Products must be unopened and in their original packaging. Email hello@fzzt.nl with your order number to start the return — we'll send you a label. Refund within 5 business days of receipt.

Email us with a photo and your order number — we'll send a replacement immediately at no cost. No need to return the damaged one.
